The complex offers 12 stone-built and fully equipped rooms- which combine the modern with the traditional element and consists of: studio cottages, family cottages, superior studio cottage with jetted tub, 2-bedroom suites with jetted tubs and one villa suitable for bigger groups.

Dalabelos Estate is located in Angeliana village, about 23km away from Rethymno. Dalabelos is a great base from where you can enjoy hiking and biking around the area or take the car for tours to the mountains, beach and archaeological sites, monasteries as well as several traditional villages.

The nearest beach is about 6 km away. If you wish to explore the mountainous part of the island you can visit the sites of Zominthos and Elefthrena, byzantine churches and Venetian monuments like the monasteries of Arkadi and Vosakou and small villages such as Margarites, Maroulas, Spili, Anogia, Axos and others.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Nida plateau on Mount Ida, where in the cave of Ideon Andron, according to Greek mythology, baby zeus was hidden and fed with the milk of the mythical goat Amalthea.

Travel Details from the host -> Hello! I am Vassilis Petrodaskalakis and I own with my family Dalabelos Estate.. Dalabelos is located in our Village Angeliana (500m from the Village). I left my village and our land for studies and i was back in 2004 to work for dalabelos project, a dream that we were planning for almost 10 years and we still work on it.. I like to travel and i like to meet people from different places and to share with them experiences and interests .. I love the way that earth smells but I also love to travel and visit a city like NY, Havana, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Istanbul.. I love and I play music and I offer this to the people I meet. I like ceramics and I am lucky to live in this area of Crete with tradition in pottery art from the Minoan period. I like history and culture and the people who have ideals and they fight for these ideals and I am happy to live in a place where it remains alive the memory of the Monastery of Arkadi and also ancient Eleftherna and Panormos, the Talea Mountains and Cave of Zeus at Idi mountain (Psiloritis) are located.. I like organic farming and this is what, my family and I, do in our property (Dalabelos Farm). I am warmly interested in sharing with my visitors this way of living that smells our Crete!
