Withing walking distance 100m you will be able to find a grocery store, a butcher shop, a bakery and a small mini market. Further down to 'Platanes' village, 5m drive, there are a lot shops, supermarkets, restaurants, tavernas, ATM, etc
Close to the villa you have 2 options.
-‘'Xovoli'' restaurant which is only 500m away from the villa and I definitely recommend that you would go there. Local dishes for very good price
-Just after the village of Kirianna you will find another restaurant which is called ‘'Faragi'' which means ‘'the gorge'' .Very good meat since it is from local producers. Again very good value and you get to see where the locals eat.

Travel Details from the host -> My name is Georgia Chalkiadaki born and grew up in Rethymno Crete. Pigi is a lovely traditional village just 10 minutes away from the city of Rethymno. There my father grew up in an old house which me and my husband Antonis decided to replace it and build the house of our dreams. Only the well of 17m in depth can now remember that house!!! Me and Antonis had the original and profitable idea to build the first Sportsvilla in Greece inspired from our two loves: the luxury holidays and sports. Antonis is a gym instructor (we are also owners of a local gym) with Sports studies in Athens University and Master studies in Bristol University. We work together and have three very young children living in village nearby Pigi. I really love travelling around the world and I am sure that I can be very useful during your stay in our villa.
