The Hotel Rea is a family-run hotel. It is situated in a quiet corner in the center of Heraklion, behind the Historical Museum and within walking distance from the Lions square. It is close to the Archaeological Museum and the Venetian port.

Concerning transportation from the Airport of Heraklion to our hotel we would like to inform you that you could come by bus or by taxi. It easier to come by taxi. Taxis standing on the main road few meters far from the arrival gate in the Airport. When you exit the Airport you follow few meters on the right and you will immediately see taxis standing by. The normal tariff is Euro 12 and the distance is 10-15 minutes.
It is also possible to come from the Airport of Heraklion to the city center by bus. Just in front the Main Airport entrance it is the bus stop where you could take the bus to the town.It is a little kiosk next to the bus stop where you could buy tickets, the ticket cost around Euro 1,80.
