This wonderful cycladic house was built in 2010 in the traditional Folegandros style, using stone and wood, and painted in white and blue, just like you've seen it in your dreams!

It is definitely the ideal setting for people looking for a peaceful, relaxing, back-to-basics romantic or family holiday. The house is fully furnished and can easily accommodate up to 6 guests.

The surroundings provide not only absolute silence at all times, but also a cool enjoyable environment however high the temperature soars outside.

Our house is situated in the agricultural village of Ano Meria, in the small and peaceful island of Folegandros that has 650 inhabitants and covers around 30sq.km.

Ano Meria lies 5km from the main village of the island, Chora, and 10km from the Port, Karavostasis. It is a very long (5km) settlement formed by dispesed traditional farmhouses. Untouched by the touristic development of Chora, Ano Meria can offer you an unforgettable back to basics experience: long talks with the local farmers, rides on mules, delicious meals with organic local ingredients, a magical scenery that seems to has resisted the passing of time.

We are lucky to have Kuria Irini, the island's best cook 5min away from our house. In her lovely restaurant/grocery, you can enjoy the islands purest homemade dishes and purchase all the basics for your stay.
