The Southern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a spacious innter yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

The space
The house consists of a room with basic amenities – full bathroom, kitchen, a dining space and a double bed, as well an open loft with a single bed for a third person. The house also has a spacious, picturesque inner stone yard that can be used for outdoor dining, reading or just relaxing. You can enjoy the shade under the canopy or spend a lazy afternoon in the hammock.
