Saint-Germain des Pres is an absolutely incredible neighborhood -- especially for those who want to explore on foot. Not only it is full of things to do and see (countless restaurants, cafes, bakeries and shops), it is bordered by other great neighborhoods well worth venturing into either by walking, or riding a bus (the closest stop being just in front of our building!). Luxembourg Garden, Cafe de Flore, Montparnasse, the Latin Quarter, Orsay and Louvre Museums are all within walking distance from the apartment -- making this area truly worth never leaving!
