The apartment is located a stone’s throw from the Notre Dame cathedral and the river Seine, in between the shopping districts of Le Marais and St. Germain and a short walk from the famous Place Monge food market and the Jardin du Luxembourg – an idyllic picnic location!


The Latin Quarter and surrounding areas are full of things to do - historic sites, beautiful walks, markets, restaurants and cafes. Our favorite thing to do is to simply walk along the river or explore little, less well known parts of our neighborhood – we find something new every time! However, if you want to plan an itinerary within walking distance, here are some of the major sites we recommend – none further afield than a leisurely 20 minutes walk:

- Notre Dame Cathedral (under 5 minutes)
- The Islands of Ile St. Louis and Ile de la Cite (5 minutes)
- St Chapelle which is on the Ile de la Cité (5 minutes)
- The iconic bookshop, Shakespeare & Company (5 minutes)
