The village of Elia is located 12 km southeast of Heraklion in the hinterland of the Municipality of Hersonissos and is only 4.5 km from the seaside village of Kokkini Hani. Elia is a beautiful village spread on a verdant, green slope with aromatic plants and colorful flowers, with age-old olives and locusts and looks like a small village hidden in the Cretan nature.
