The road to the villa is unsealed for the last 150m, and ends soon after the house so receives very little traffic. Behind the villa is a woodland area with several footpaths and forest tracks to stroll and enjoy.
Gavalochori village is within a few minutes walk and has tavernas, general stores, and a bakery that makes the best bread in the world every morning!
The seaside resort of Almyrida is a few minutes away by car or approximately a 35 minute walk. The beaches of Almyrida are awarded a Blue Flag every year, showing that the sea is clean and that the beach provides the necessary safety features and customer service facilities. It is a beautiful, large sandy bay with clear, shallow waters making it very safe for young children. There are many tavernas in Almyrida with some larger supermarkets, wineries, general stores, jewellers, beach wear shops and bakers.
