Beautiful blue and white house overlooking the lovely historic traditional village of Kerames, with gorgeous sea and mountain views from all the terraces
The space
Sitting just above the beautiful white village of Kerame, the house has the best of all worlds. While being set apart, a minute or two's walk takes you to the well stocked village shop, the pretty village square, or platia, and to a choice of simple but excellent local kafenions/tavernas. Walking paths up into the hills and mountains begin straight from the doorstep, or there are many routes to walk down to the sea, from 4kms away, so alternatively a very and short drive. The views, whichever option you choose are simply stunning.
The beaches are unspoiled and incredibly beautiful. Several will be almost deserted even in high season, while others have pretty tavernas, offering great food and ambience.

in area-Kerames, GreeceKerames village is pretty and historic, so a walk around it's narrow streets is a must, with a stop at Nico's in the platia for something refreshing, or more substantial. Patra's taverna, with its outside terrace is lovely too. Just take the side turning by the shop and you'll find it.
The charming little tourist town of Spilli, famous for it's water fountains, is 20 minutes by car, and has lots of great shops and restaurants, as well as supermarkets, a bakers, a cash point, and a chemist etc.
We think the well stocked local shop is excellent, and they will reserve things for you on order, like particular bread or fresh fish, but there is also a large bakers in Mixorouma, just past Spilli where the bread is excellent.
Plakias and Agia Galini are both about an hour away by car for more restaurants, shopping and boat trips, and more holiday excursions, if relaxing in the natural surroundings of mountains, beaches and sea gets too much and you need a change!!
