Our Rural Kea House stands as a remembrance of rural architecture in Kea, 100 years ago. A stone farmhouse, traditionally built and yet modern. A place to come to and relax, enjoy a glass of wine under the stars or contemplating the view.
The space
A special and unique place ! Used as a filmset for the annual Lacta chocolate TV advertisement filmed on location in Kea and in our house, which was specifically selected for its unique atmosphere.
Staying in this house is an experience! A traditionally built stone house, dating from the 19th century, tastefully refurbished and cosy to stay in.

You feel as if you have travelled back in time, to Greece of the 1960's, when civilization had not invaded our lives, farmers used donkeys & carried water from water sources. Near the house, there is an ancient water source, still used for drinking water, as well as traditional washing basins where women brought clothes and kilims to wash.
ON KEA & OUR AREA
Kea is an island of the Aegean archipelago, inhabited since prehistoric times. Approaching it by ferry, there is nothing to impress, apart from the large natural harbor on the left, Vourkari, one of the safest in the Mediterranean and a site of prehistoric findings. One hour ferry ride and less than 2 hrs from Athens airport, it is very close and at the same time very far from civilization.
