I live in a lively multicultural neighbourhood, which has its pros and cons. I love my neighbourhood because of the social mix and how this translates into the social and cultural scene. Streets can be lively, with kids and people hanging out on the streets, also in the evening (especially in summer). Downside is that this sometimes leads to some noise, but most of the time nothing exuberant.

Other reasons why I like my neighbourhood
- It is not anonymous. People actually know each other and say hello
- The communal garden at 50m from my house
- Café Congé: a hipster neighbourhood bar at 400m, in a small square with barely no cars and a lot of people on warm summer nights.
- Bakeries, butchers, nightshops, supermarkets & Pitta bars at 2-5 min walking distance
- For those who want to walk/run: we are 1 km away from "Bourgoyen"- a gorgeous & quiet nature reserve (google it!).

Travel Details from the host -> I am a social justice activist who loves to bring people together. I love food, music, dancing, and of course my little boy. He is four - not the easiest phase - so I hope you’ll forgive him for the occasional outburst of anger. With work, a child and activism, my life is pretty busy. My home is my haven where I meet up with friends, relax and recharge.
