Our ancestral home 'la maison de Pénélope' (the house of Penelope), is a traditional Cretan house recently renovated to be used as a vacation house, in center of all the landmarks and holiday destinations in East Crete.It's located in a quiet traditional village, Limnes, which is in an olive valley between Agios Nikolaos(10km) and Heraklion(50km) easily accessed from ports or airports.We are more than happy to help you with your vacation schedule, as well as answer to any questions you may have.

The space
Thanks to the building materials and the heating/cooling conditions of the house, you have the perfect conditions for winter or summer. The house is decorated with items that belonged to our grandparents, nevertheless we have added some new items for the sake of functionality.
As you can see in the photos, there is a lot of space for many visitors, who can have their separate rooms apart from the 1 common room.
