Neighborbood Overview:

The 11th arrondissement of Paris extends for the most part from the places of the Bastille to that of the Nation and the Republic. Far from being uniform, it is homogeneous in the idea that it is a lively district, full of bars and restaurants, where there is much to experiment. The flat is located just next to Metro Goncourt for better place yourself in the locaiton of Paris. The Canal Saint-Martin is walking distance so ideal for the apero, a beer or a walk (hot social spot in the area with young people and good vibe!) . Rue Oberkampft with its cool and hype bars and restos is also only a 5-min walk (no tourist traps there so only for the informed tourist :)

The Bastille district is quite close too and particularly lively, with numerous shopping districts, offices, colleges, hospitals as well as the Gare de Lyon which drains a continuous stream of travelers to the center.
