The long-abandoned Tour & Taxis neighbourhood, an old industrial quarter, is now undergoing a radical, interesting and quick redefinition under modern social and sustainability criteria.

The space
It's an open space with white and exposed brick walls, concrete and bamboo floors, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bathtub, furniture, full size bed and a terrace. There is a wireless internet connection, a BOSE Soundlink for tablets and smartphone at your disposal.

The Region is creating a large regional park there. Landscaping and recreational areas are also in the works. Ultimately, a veritable network comprised of four large green spaces will link Sainctelette Square with Bockstael Square. This will be the biggest urban park created in downtown Brussels since the time of Léopold II. Currently, the site hosts ParckFarm, a social farm concept that directs various activities.
