Also note that the apartment is located downstairs, but due to the formation of the building, you still get garden view and plenty of sun and air. There's also a large commonly shared yard on the front with patio furniture, plus you can of course use the BBQ area on the right side of the property for more privacy.

Our neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, with almost no traffic at all on the road that passes outside the apartments. Here you can enjoy a countryside family (and friends) vacation within a calm environment. A romantic getaway far from the noise of the city!

The local beach of Stavros, famous for being featured in the dancing scenes of the popular movie Zorba the Greek with Anthony Quinn, with its calm and shallow clear waters, is very safe for small children. The beach is only 1200 meters from the apartment, and is well-protected from the rocks and the mountain of Stavros, not affected by the northwesterly winds, so you can swim even on a windy day. Relaxation and sunbathing on the sandy beach, what more could you ask for?!

The area surrounding the beach of Stavros is full of cafeterias and tavernas and restaurants. There is also a small church here, and nearby to the left the infamous Sunset Beach, where one can photograph the beautiful sunset.

Travel Details from the host -> I've always focused a lot on studying and computers, leaving little to no time for outside activities. Once I graduated from high school, I attended the University of Crete, majoring in Economics. Due to the fact I knew a lot about technology, I started working as a newsposter in one of the largest Greek Hardware sites. My passion for computers and marketing, lead me to work in the marketing department of the largest retailer in Greece, and after that, in various foreign hardware companies. Through my job, I had the opportunity to travel abroad (Germany, Turkey etc) and experience different cultures, new ways of life, broaden my horizons and eventually become a better person. That's when I started becoming fascinated by travelling. Since then, whenever I get a chance to visit another place, even if it's a small village in the other side of Crete, I instantly grab it. One of the most important things I learned while travelling, whether it's a luxurious hotel in Turkey or a Zimmervermietung in Hanover, is that having a great host makes your stay not only easier, but also pleasant.
