OUR LEFT BANK APARTMENT is located in the heart of Paris on the famous tree-lined Boulevard St. Germain. Built in 1863, it still has the original marble fireplaces and Versailles pattern oak floors. Despite its old world charm, it's equipped with all the modern conveniences, including wireless Internet.
The master bedroom with its queen bed and fireplace is on a quiet courtyard. The office/guestroom was thought out to accommodate guests in a variety of combinations: 1-2 single or 1 queen high-end normal bed height electric airbed(s), or, for those who need space to work or write at the desk, no bed at all! IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME IN PARIS, you’ll certainly enjoy being able to walk to all the must-see attractions. Place de la Concorde is just a few blocks and from there you can head straight up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. You can easily stroll ½ hour upstream along the Seine to Notre Dame, or ½ hour downstream to the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero, or stop along the way and jump on a tour boat. Even the Opera is a short walk across the Tuileries and on up through the Place Vendome with its jewelers.

IF YOU'VE BEEN TO PARIS BEFORE and are looking for a more leisurely experience, you’ll enjoy shopping at some of the fine food shops in the neighborhood and picnicking on the Pont Solferino (officially Pont Senghor) alongside other neighbors in the evenings, down on the quai by the Seine, in the Tuileries gardens on the other side of the bridge, or simply dining in some of the popular local restaurants.

We are a Franco-American couple. Bruno (French) and Letitia (American despite her name) met in San Diego as students and later moved to Paris. Bruno teaches film and occasionally directs or produces one, Letitia translates books (and exhibitions and screenplays) and occasionally writes one.
