In Kefalas gibt es zwei kleine "Supermärkte" zum Teil mit regionalen Bioartikeln. Ansonsten gibt es in den nächsten Badeorten, oder in Vamos alles was man braucht.
Die nächste Bademöglichkeit ist eine, meist nur von Einheimischen und Zugezogenen frequentierte, Felsenbucht mit glasklarem Wasser und einer klitzekleinen Taverne. Ansonsten badet man in Almirida und Georgiopolis, oder wer lieber Süßwasser mag im schönen Bergsee von Kournas.

Travel Details from the host -> Kalimera! I‘m a Greek/German girl from Crete living in Berlin. My father is Greek and lives in a cute little village called Kefalas. Twenty years ago he inherited a ruin which he renovated over years all on his own. I think he did a really good job maintaining the old traditional style of stone building. The house is divided into four apartments which have all access to a large court and pool area. Back in the days he was the first one in his village having a pool! (Now almost everybody has) He designed a very unique and imperfect perfect little paradise. The house is located in one of the most beautiful mountain villages in this area. From here you can see the beauty of the big white mountains called „leuka Ora“. You also got the sea view on the other side. If you’re interested in staying in our beautiful home I recommend having a rental car. Crete is an island for explorers. Nothing is in one place. There are so many different places to go to so it’s really helpful to have a car. My dad also offers boat trips to some hidden jams and a couple of caves you can only enter by sea.
