Kalessa Is a traditional village 8 km from Heraklio. There you can find traditional restaurants, and cafe and also mini market for some shopping.
Gazi is a bigger village(3km distance)and you can also find super markets,banks,farmacy,cafe ,restaurants,post oficce,police station.

I was born and brought up in the beautiful island of Crete. I had worked as a saleswoman in a big multinational company for 20 years. I love to create things from recycled materials such as wood and other materials nature generously gives us. The last five years, I have been doing this as profession. Another thing I love, is gardening and generally working with the earth. Crete is worldwide known for its unique hospitality and people.
