A recently renovated 50 m² elevated ground floor apartment, located in the centre of Athens, just behind the Archeological Museum. Nearby to many taverns with authentic traditional greek cuisine and many cafe bars, that provide one with many options for relaxing and enjoying the city and its people not in a touristic way. Close to the metro, subway and bus stations via which you can move anywhere in Athens.

The space
The apartment has one bedroom with two separate single beds that can be pieced together, one bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen including a cooker, a fridge and a coffee maker, and a comfortable living room. Also, all rooms has access to the balcony, which oversees a small yard and it is ideal for relaxation.

Other things to note
Guests that stay for more than two days, are kindly asked to water the flowers on the balcony, or to arrange with my brother/mother a time that they can come over to water themselves.

Exarxia is one of the most historical neighbourhoods located in the heart of Athens. Over the last decades, it was a gathering point for artists, poets and writers. Now it's one of the liveliest and alternative areas. It contains a lot of bars and cafes and gathers people from all over Athens. It is appropriate if you want to meet Athens nightlife, but for relaxation also as it has many hidden spots. Also, it allows you to explore many different aspects of the city, as It is near to many other well-known neighbourhoods of Athens (Panepistimio- Kolonaki-Monastiraki) with different characteristics, reachable by 10 or 15 minutes walking.

Travel Details from the host I was born in Athens and later on, I moved to Thessaloniki to study Chemical Engineering. I love travelling, meeting new people & cultures, good food and mountain hiking. I am currently living in Moscow, pursuing a Master of renewable energy sources. While being in Russia, my brother motivated me to enter Airbnb and share my house in Athens.
