I am confident you will love Kas. Since first discovering the place as a backpacker in 1998, I have always wanted to spend time there at least once a year. It is a fantastically cosmopolitan little town, full of creative, intelligent people, good food, charismatic buildings and atmosphere. It can get quite busy in the hotter peak season, July and August, which is actually quite nice, but I think May, June, September and October are my favourite months.

Travel Details from the host -> My name is Serkan, I was born in Istanbul, but lived most of my life in London. Over the years I have travelled back and forth very frequently between Turkey and the UK and have lived in both countries sporadically. After living in Bodrum with my partner and two children for 6 years or so, my family and I recently moved to London which is where we currently live. I run a travel company called Journey Anatolia which offers off the beaten track holidays, photography tours in Turkey as well as the SunSplash Music Festival in Bodrum. I also shoot, edit and direct short films and documentaries. Most of my family are involved in arts, we love good design, we love healthy living, fine cuisine, sea, sun, music, dance, good films, great books and the smell of suntan lotion. We love our villas too and spend as much time in them as possible every year, apart from high season when they are mainly rented out to guests. However, due to our intimate knowledge of the local culture and surroundings, we are always happy to consult guests and respond the any queries they may about the villas, the area or anything else.
