Kunming-Dongchuan

Airport pick up, and then transfer to Dongchuan.

Dongchuan-Luliang

We will watch sunrise in Damakan, and then visit Jinxiuyuan. After breakfast, we will keep going to visit Yuepuao, Guoditang, Dawotang. After lunch in Dongchuan, visit old dragon tree, Luoxiagou, and Qicaipo. After visit all the places in Dongchuan, take about 3 hours bus ride to Luliang.

Luliang-Luoping

We are going to visit Luliang colorful sand forest after breakfast.
After that, 1 hours bus ride will take us into the sea of yellow flowers—Luoping. This is a small town located in the merge of Yunnan, Guangxi and Guizhou three provinces, 20 thousand acres of Youcaihua start to bloom, you will feels like you sunk into a yellow ocean. In the afternoon, we are going to visit Jiulong River group waterfalls. We will trekking to the highest level waterfall, and enjoy the full view of the whole area.

Luoping

After breakfast, we leave for Jinji peaks forest on the northeast side of the Luoping County. This is the paradise of photographers, standing on the mountain, you will see endless flower ocean, little Karst hills grown out from the ocean like bamboo shoots. Then, we will visit Duoyi River natural bio scenic area, fully experience the beautiful river view with local Buyi minority traditional buildings. There’s many huge water wheel along the river, just like a water wheel museum.

Luoping-Yuanyang

After breakfast, we will drive to the misty mountain town Yuanyang. Afternoon to Ba Da terraces, this quiet and small village with an unusual great scenery, clear spring,the antique wooden bridge, the old watermill babbling creaked as if recounting the story of the millennium, exquisite terrace group like a huge Chinese bonsai, rough Hani houses like mushrooms scattered among the land. The villagers bright dressed and their smile take us back to reality, you can’t help sighing that those indigenous people with amazing hard-working created spectacular Yuanyang terrace.

Yuanyang

If weather is good, we will wake up early, take packed breakfast, drive 28 km out of county, to see wonderful terraces sunrise. After that, we are going to visit Bada terraces and Hani morning market. In the afternoon, we will visit the highest view point—Tiger mouth. From Tiger Mouth, we can see the endless terrace connect to the sky, this is also the best place to see the sunset.

Yuanyang-Jianshui

We will take 3 hours drive in the morning to Jianshui. Jianshui is a place with great location, have a history over 1200 years, is one of a famous cultural city in China. In the Jianshui old town, there’s good preserved Chinese ancient buildings from song, yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties, more than 50 ancient stone bridge, known as the "China ancient residential architecture museum". Jianshui Food is well-known throughout China, we will never miss it. We are going to visit Jianshui Swallow cave in the afternoon, and then have free time in the old town, you can explore local snacks.

Jianshui-Kunming

In the morning, we will take 30 minutes bus ride to Tuan Shan village which full of ancient residence, enjoy ancient village, visiting the ancient Zhang’s family garden. On the way to Truanshan, we are going to visit Chinese architectural treasures - Double Dragon Bridge.
