Come and relax in our cosy sous-sol on the little island at the edge of Ghent, the former service quarters of our house from 1912. With great care for the authentic elements, we have transformed this into a nice space with an eye for design. The space has a private access to our garden, where you can enjoy the green surroundings. It is located near the park at the old docks, and a stone's throw from the center.

The space
The space consists of a connecting living area and bedroom, a veranda with dining table, adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen (oven, stove, dishwasher) and the walk-in shower. The veranda gives access to the garden.

Please note that the bedroom and living area are only 2m high, so less suitable for people taller than 1m90.

Guest access

Our sous-sol is located on the island 'de Muide', the former port area of Ghent. You can still find numerous references to the old glory days in the neighborhood, warehouses, cranes, etc. Nearby a park has been laid out with a small beach overlooking the old docks. The city center is a fifteen minute walk, or just take the tram 200m from our door.
