Four rooms and rich meals in our house Villa Eleftheria in the rural cretan village Vagionia on the south coast with big terrace on the first floor and patio on the ground floor. The biggest room is the studio for 5 people on the first floor with fully equipped kitchen and two balconies. The two floors room Onda offers space for 3 guests and a wonderful view. On the ground floor there is one triple room and a double room available. If you need less rooms, we offer you a special price.

The space
Barbecue grill, two balconies with wonderful view to the mountains Ida and Asterousia and the Messara plain. Possibility to order breakfast, lunch or dinner (private cooking). Dimitris, the house owner, is a professional cook and creates the tastiest food. You can try out the healthy traditional food of Crete. We use fresh ingredients from our garden and our animals.

We live quiet and rurally. The animals of the village often pay a visit to the Villa Eleftheria. The people of Vagionia is very friendly and hospitable. Vis-a-vis our house there is a bench where the old women of the village meet every afternoon to chat until it is time to sleep. Almost everybody does farming and has his own olive trees. In Vagionia you can find two supermarkets, one bakery, one butcher's shop, one pharmacy and two gas stations. Several coffee shops and one Taverna invite you to socialize with the friendly people of our village.

Travel Details from the host -> I'm a bio olive oil farmer in Crete. I fell in love with Crete two decades ago when I traveled the first time to this beautiful island. I like the wonderful nature with the colors blue, green and yellow and the wild landscape of south Crete and the friendly people. I'm crazy about the greek food especially cooked by my husband Dimitris, which is a real food and live artist.
