In this fully renovated apartment of 1936, you can feel and breath Athens past in a modern set up.
It is spacious and airy. It has a beautiful balcony overlooking St. Nicholas church in front and a very cosy backyard for relaxation.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe, perfect for those who want to get the local feeling. Yet, it is close to Acropolis and in walking distance to all one needs to see and do.
The space
The apartment is located on the first floor of a two-story building, dated back in 1936.
In the entrance hall of the building, on the ground floor, and in this first-floor apartment, one can find all the initial elements of the Art Deco architectural movement of that period: cement tile floors (we have named our apartments after these tiles!), high ceilings, the original windows and shutters.

Our place is located in a cosy, quiet neighborhood, where you can get a very good feeling of how locals live. The upper part of it is mainly residential, with houses mostly dated in 1930's. Their owners (mainly couples and families - very friendly people) have put a lot of work into renovating them. The community of the church in front is also active and gives a nice touch in the area.
On the other side, the place is very close to good value traditional food places, such as Greek Tavernas and Souvlaki/Gyros places, as well as cafes, breakfast places, bakeries (actually the best bakery in town is there) and everything you may need.
It is c. 10 min walk to the Acropolis hill, c. 15 min walk to the Acropolis Museum and the historical center and c. 20 min walk to the new commercial center.
