This is a quiet neighborhood with sparsely located housing, the closest neighbor being 200m away. It is unique in that it combines natural beauty and at the same time close proximity to Parikia port. It has unobstructed view of the Aegean and Parikia Bay. There are even the occasional wildlife visitors in the surrounding fields and hills, such as hawks, tortoises and horses. The closest beaches are Agia Irini a sandy palm beach, Livadia, Marcello and Krios beaches, only ~10 min drive away, and the two latter beaches are also easily accessible on a quaint fishing boat departing from Parikia port every 10-20min.
