In the residential "South Pigalle" area you find lots of bars, trendy shops and restaurants, but also the classical Haussmann architecture with its typically Parisian details. The exquisite Musée de la vie Romantique, with it's cosy garden, is just around the corner and a perfect get-away on a sunny afternoon. Toulouse-Lautrec used to live next-door, as well as Degas and many other artists and composers in the close neighborhood.

Moulin Rouge is just up the street, the beautiful Place Saint-Georges a few blocks down, and the famous market street rue des Martyrs 5 min away.
