The Monastery of St John is about a 5 minute walk away and there are amazing views from the house. Shops and restaurants are also close by.
For breakfast I would recommend Loza which has the most amazing views over Patmos also great to watch the sunset. They make great breakfasts and are very friendly. For dinner there is Vangelis taverna which is in the square.
