‘Op Den Spieghel’ is a newly renovated, fully equipped rooftop aerie/loft with fantastic views out onto this beautiful city, often called the Manhattan of the 16th Century.

The building is secure and has a lift. Our small loft (65m2) includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living area, a toilet, a bedroom with queen-sized boxspring bed (feather duvet) and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

Our loft is the ideal base camp for any kind of expedition, job, or adventure: Museums, art galleries, churches, cafés, coffee bars, restaurants, a great amount of authentic shops, and even an art-house cinema are all in the immediate neighbourhood.

Besides all these wealthy surroundings, our aerie is located in just a couple of steps away from a fantastic bakery store, some great butcher shops, an ultra-fresh fish seller, various vegan & vegetarian snack-bars and some ultra-polite mini-markets for last-moment-groceries. —Btw. Supermarkets, restaurants, take-aways and some of the best cafés in town are just one step further… all still within a 5 minutes walking distance.

Travel Details from the host -> Traveling around the world as ’sales representative' for Antwerp fashion designers, or as ‘buyer’ for interior designers, made me be quite demanding regarding the places I was staying. Finding a comfortable, elegant and very tidy stay at a perfect location has always been my main goal. When traveling for pleasure, I noticed I actually looked for the same kind of qualitative, stylish and —for sure!- authentic spots… Pleasure & business always seemed tightly connected :-))) Starting from my own travel experiences and the encounter with so many people with various cultural backgrounds made me of course very skilled for the hosting of guests from all over the world.
