Our barge is moored in Gent from 1st October through to 31st March. From 1st April to 30th September we are travelling with the barge and bookings are limited during this time. Please contact us to enquire about availability.

The space
You are warmly welcomed aboard our beautiful 1914 Dutch Klipperaak barge. Check in is between 1500 - 2100hrs. We hope you will be very comfortable here with us. Our guest suite is dedicated to you for the duration of your stay and it is priced on a per night basis for up to two people. No discounts or single occupancy rate is offered. All bed linens, towels and basic toiletries are provided for our guests comfort and use during their stay onboard with us. Our minimum stay is 2 nights (longer by arrangement). Our mooring is in the city and you are minutes away on foot from a plethora of shops, cafes, bars and many other visitor sites and attractions. We are happy to recommend various eateries based on our personal dining experience, so please do ask.
Parking: we do not have dedicated parking onsite, nor are we permitted a 'residents parking permit' as we do not own a car. However, there are various public parking options nearby. Some street parking is available on a first come first served basis and time limits will apply for the gratis (free) and paid (via street meter) spaces that are available. Ghent operates a park and ride system in addition to the many larger public carparks dotted around the area. All the information you might need regarding parking in the city is readily available on the internet for you to consider before making your booking.
