The 800 year old house is located in the main village of the island , the “Hora “ and part of the Venetian Castle – the “ Castro “ located right on the edge of a high cliff, offering a breath-taking view of the Aegean from it’s magic sea view veranda.
An ideal place to stay as it is the heart of the Village – centrally located – and simultaneously a quite place to stay – as no cars can enter the Castro Area.
The space
Spread over 2 floors, this diminutive 12th-century townhouse has been carefully renovated, keeping the original character using natural materials with some individual decorative touches.
The outer walls of this house are stone build and more than one meter thick. The roof was restored like in the old times using ecological materials ( Ceramic layers, Stone and wood ) keeping the climate inside of the house comfortable even during summer.
