Bercy is a very lively area and one of the locals' favorite places. Its park is a great place to relax, with its pond, flowery alleys, and small vegetable gardens. Former warehouses for wine products have been converted into what is now Bercy Village, a unresistable area full of cafés, restaurants, shops, and even a movie theater. Very lively at night and on week-ends, relaxed and hype atmosphere. Walk across the park and you'll end up on the Simone de Beauvoir footbrige. Cross the Seine river and you'll be on the left bank, right at the foot of the Grande Bibilothèque de France, where floating restaurants and short-lived cafés are full in the summer with a party vibe.
