The space
Both Spitakia are built based on the wisdom of the traditional architecture of Cyclades in a 5.000 sq.m. area by the cedar trees are totally adjusted to the natural environment. The cottage (76sq.m.) has two bedrooms, living room, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The covered veranta has traditional oven and barbecue and there is a large area of enjoying the shade or the sun. The shoreline of the are has many small beaches and the door of the estate to the sea will lead you directly to one of them

You definitely going to need some kind of transportation. I suggest a car.

Travel Details from the host -> Hello, My name is Lito, I was born and raised in Naxos and I studied architecture in Thessaloniki. Since my graduation I am working at the family architectural office in Naxos that was established in 1969. I pay respect to the traditional Cycladic architecture and I am fascinated by the stories that monuments have to say. Naxos is an island that can offer many pleasures and interests to those who visit it. There are some important temples from the ancient years, a number of residences-fortresses from what the locals call "Venetian period", an enormous number of unique churches from the Byzantine period and many villages to visit each one with special architectural elements. Incredible nature and interesting walk paths that can put you in the heart of what the island is through the centuries. Naxos has an important activity on agriculture and stock raising and you can enjoy the local products at the Greek taverns all around the island. Even small taverns in small villages can offer you a good experience of Greek food. Don't forget to taste as much as cheese types as you can! Naxos is famous about the number, the quality and the variety of beaches that are awarded and publicized worldwide so I won't say any more. "Spitakia" is our family summer house that I spend the summer times of my childhoods. There are made with grate affection and they mean a lot to us and our friends for the unique and beautiful moments that gave us all these years. The area became very popular last decades but we are determined to keep it simple and maintain the authenticity of the environment. My wish is to escort travelers to the peace and joy of the Greek summer.
