The cross-cultural 16th district is a nice place to stay. You can find grocery stores (Spar, Billa) and bakery stores very close (4 minutes walk). A famous and very colorful nearby marketplace is the "Brunnenmarkt". It´s atmospheric and impressive. There are also many different shops in the "Thaliastraße" as well as Restaurants from all over the world (Turkish, Italian, American, Serbian, Austrian, Asian...). Furthermore we can recommend the cinema in the big shopping center "Lugnercity". Beside many different fashion stores you can also find the best sushi in town in the "Lugnercity". Don´t miss the running sushi there! :) Another great place to spend time is the major library, full of thousands of books and comfortable reading areas. It also contains many books in different languages.

Travel Details from the host -> I am a kindergarten teacher and have two lovely toddler-children at my own. We like spending time in Vienna, the big capital of Austria. We also enjoy to be in the countryside, walking and spending time in the nature. Before I had children, I loved to travel a lot (to Ireland, Egypt, Tunisia, Malawi, Thailand, Germany, England, Italy...). Even if my home-country is Austria my motto is: Your home is, where your heart is. :)
