Neighborbood Overview:

This location in Williamsburg is ideal -- a few steps from the Lorimer stop (L and G trains), which takes you into Manhattan within minutes, and is only 4 stops to Union Square.

TONS of amazing restaurants and nightlife in the neighborhood. If you love food you will be very happy to try something new and delicious each night. 24hr grocery store w/ healthy and delicious options (we love their take-out sushi and salads!). Lots of fun places for live music and dancing right in our neighborhood, and of course a world of options are always a subway ride away. McCarren Park is very close, w/ track, playground, fields, etc, and great farmers market on Saturday. Wonderful selection of yoga studios in the area. Bedford Ave with street vendors selling art, jewelry, etc, 15 min walk/5 min bike. Citi-bike station across the street - which we highly recommend, because getting around becomes a fast and fun adventure! Nice walk/bike to the Williamsburg Bridge to Lower East Side

Hi! We both LOVE to travel, explore new places and cultures, and practice other languages. We love swimming, riding our bikes, making & enjoying music, dancing, camping, paddling, cooking, cross country skiing ... Pete's a music therapist working mostly with adults with disabilities such as autism, and he also gigs regularly with his bands and does astrology and tarot readings. Halle's a math coach, which means she works with different schools in NYC and the Hudson Valley helping teachers teach math better. After many years between two homes - our beloved Brooklyn apartment and a shared house upstate - we now live full time in New Paltz. We travel often, and are happy to share our home with people who fill it with good energy.
