Neighborbood Overview:

Whitestone is a quiet, upscale and safe residential neighborhood. There’s shops close by and great dining options within walking distance.

There’s a beautiful private park in the back of the house (see pics) and a public park across the street where you can run.

We're a 10 min bus ride to the densely packed bustle of downtown Flushing where you can try the varied East Asian cuisines and markets and then come back home to peace and tranquility. Trust me you’ll appreciate it!

*I strongly suggest you familiarize yourself with where you're planning to go while you're staying in Whitestone. What is a manageable commute for one person is not the same for another. As New Yorkers we are accustom to 1hr work commutes So I do not want to get a low star rating for "location" because my guests did not pick the right place for their needs. So if you want to be in Manhattan in 15min I suggest you book elsewhere. Thank you!

I started using AirBnB as a way to visit my kids but as of 2018 I now host as well! You can say I have a knack for this. I love entertaining so I'm very social. I love to travel internationally and learn from other customs and cultures. I'm a self proclaimed foodie so you can count on me to point you to some very good spots...sometimes they're just a hole in the wall. : ) I believe in: paying it forward, living a clean and honest life, treating others as you wish to be treated.
