The space
The studio apartment was designed around the special old-style stone oven. Traditionally it was used for baking bread or roasting meat & potatoes for large family gatherings. A room was built around it & a new renovation makes it a comfortable & private place to have a holiday.
This traditional house was a family dwelling for a few generations with additions built on as needed.
