This guided tour begins at 'Moosehall,' the home base of operations, for an early breakfast and start to the day. Then enjoy a chance to paddle a nearby lake until it joins the larger Lake Michigan before a break for lunch and quest to find a shipwreck. Next, a coastal hike along the lake shore will lead to some of the most stunning vistas in the state. If time allows, travel to several other rewarding hikes in the area, or enjoy Frankfort itself, complete with recommendations on the best restaurants in town. Some of the many possibilities on this tour include viewing the aforementioned shipwreck (or two), depending on the weather. Paddle along Lower Herring Lake; hike a variety of local trails, both through the forest and along the beach; swim in Lake Michigan; hike up to one of the highest points in the region. Lunch will be provided and will include both a healthy travel lunch and snacks throughout the day. Due to the early end of the trip, dinner is not included but recommendations will be made for a number of popular food destinations in the area.
