We are a young family from Vienna and rent out a newly refurbished (May 2015) apartment 51m2 with old wooden floors in a building from 1913.
We speak English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch and love hosting so many different people from all over the world!

The space
The Apartment is app. 51m2 big and was completely renovated in May 2015. It is situated in a very-well kept building from 1913 on the fourth floor WITH elevator and is very bright and quiet.
It consists of two main rooms: one is a sleeping room with a bed, a large wardrobe and a coffeetable with two chairs. The other one is the living room with a bedsofa that you can turn into a comfortable bed for two. There is also a table for four, a chest of drawers, a sideboard with TV, DVD and Nintendo Game Cube and a bookshelf with a book exchange. If you need, we also have a travelling bed and high chair for babies/toddlers.

The 8th district is a well-to-do but also young residential area with lots of nice cafes, restaurants, bars, theatres, shops and parcs.
The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of the Josefstadt and within walking distance you reach the City Hall (10min), Parliament (15min), Burg Theater (10min), the University of Vienna (15min), the city centre (15-30min).
Walking out of the city (15min) you can discover the up-and-coming Yppenplatz in Ottakring (16th disrtict) with ist wonderful market, trendy cafes and restaurants.
We have prepared a small booklet for you with recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, cultural events and nice day trips.
The lovely 7th district lies also within walking distance (15min).
The "Altes AKH" hosting the University of Vienna and a large park often hosting cultural events lies within 10min walk.
The largest hospital in Austria, the Allgemeine Krankenhaus AKH, is also closeby (20min walk).

Travel Details from the host -> Hallo! We are Miriam & Philipp, two Viennese by heart. We grew up in Vienna and live here now with our two daughters: we love to live here and think it's a great place to visit! Philipp is a graphic designer and illustrator and Miriam just started her own company "in love with paper" designing notebooks, blankish books and friendship books for adults, made of upcycling- and designpapers, produced in Vienna and surroundings. We both love to travel and meet people from around the world. Since we are currently travelling less, we love that the world comes to us! We are interested in people, arts, culture, music and movies. We enjoy life: come visit!
