We start our walk opp Notting Hill tube outside Boots the chemist and opposite the Coronet Cinema featured in the movie Notting Hill. We then walk down Pembridge Gardens past lots of vintage shops.

We stop at the oldest pub in the area, The Sun in Splendour and at the house where George Orwell lived in 1924 before writing his epics Animal farm and 1984

We stop for a picture in picturesque Denbigh Close used in the movie The Italian Job and the original Virgin Records HQ.

We stop to see the Portobello Gold pub, very much a rockers pub in the past, now a very trendy hangout . We will also stop at the shop that doubled as the bookshop in the movie Notting Hill

We walk up Ladbroke Gardens past the theatre where Laurence Olivier first performed, to the Samarkand Hotel where Jimi Hendrix took his overdose

We stop outside the UK’s first purpose built cinema, made famous by a notorious murderer.

We will stop at the bookshop which was the inspiration for the one in the movie, very popular to this day and a famous venue for marriage proposals

All Saints Church, Film and Rock venue

All Saints Road, former Mangrove Cafe, film locations.

We see two Beatles film locations, famous recording studio and the blue door!

Vintage Market and the fantastic foodie market called Aklam Village . The shop where the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix bought military jackets.

Top end of the market to see street art and finish the tour 10 mins walk from Ladbroke Grove tube station and free time to explore the market maybe have lunch or a drink!
