We have two boats, 49' and 55' - both have 4 double cabins. Join us as an individual, couple, or rent the whole boat! We include breakfasts, lunches and drinks (inc complimentary Happy Hour drinks); skipper, all boat expenses.

Please note, the prices here are PER PERSON, on a shareboat trip. If you have your own group of people, our pricing is different (depending on how many people, usually less than our shareboat rates). Just drop us a line and ask!

The space
We've been sailing in the Dodecanese islands and Turkey for over 20 yrs now. Come join us on our floating home! We put together groups of adventurous travellers and take our guests to explore the islands and meet our wonderful local friends - often little places that are only accessible by small boat. You don't need to be an experienced sailor to join us; just pack a sense of fun and adventure!

in area-Leros, Dodecanese, Greece

The islands where we sail in Greece are called the Dodecanese. They are over the eastern side of the Aegean; Turkey is our next door neighbour. Yes, we do sail over there sometimes too!

The places we go tend to be off-the-tourist-track; many of the little places we visit are not easily accessible from the land. It's a really great way to experience a little taste of "local life", not just as one more tourist on a ferry or whatever.

Travel Details from the host -> My partner and I run a small yacht charter business, and this is our home base in Phuket - the gorgeous, off-the-tourist-tracks Ao Yon. We moor our boat here during the dry season, going out for a week or two at a time to take our guests around the islands. We're early/late 50s, but still love living in the Peter Pan world of the sailing biz :). Our place is a long ways from a plush 5* apartment; but if you're the sort of person who thinks "oh yawn, not another character-less resort" - you'll love our place! Despite a couple of new developments in the area, Ao Yon is still a quiet, friendly little beach community. We feel very lucky to be able to live here, right on the beach with million dollar views - at cruising yachtie prices! :) In the main season, we live in the upstairs apartment; the ground floor is open for guests. From April-Nov, we migrate to Greece (where we run our sailing biz there) - the top apartment is available as well then. We pack all our personal stuff in one bedroom, so that it becomes effectively a 1 bed apartment. We're very sociable types, and if we're around when you visit, we'd love to chat and give you all the local lowdown. When we are not here, a local friend looks after our guests; she can no doubt tell you even more about the area!
