Kardiani is a historic village built on a hillside, where one can easily escape the modern day distractions. And there is no better way to enjoy Tinos than from a traditional village. Parking the car just outside the village, the house is only a few minutes walk over the marble steps. Just off the main street, once you enter the property, tourists turn into a faint memory. If you feel up for a challenge, you can walk the old path down to one of the beaches in the valley below +\- 30 mins. And if you'd like to stay close to home for dinner, there are two tavernas in the village. A cocktail bar above the village can be reached by car, or with a 15 min walk up an old path.
