A nice, light-filled apartment (+balcony) south of Vienna (Perchtoldsdorf, nice&small), close to the center (10-15'walking). Kitchen and living room are combined. The kitchen is ready to use (including basics). The bathroom has a bath tub. There is one bed room, and the couch in the living room functions as a sleeping place. Busses are available to Vienna, Liesing (5'walking+10'ride) and other villages in the area. The S-Bahn (train) is in 15-20' walking distance. Perchtoldsdorf is small, very nice village with small-town-character. You find a nice town center (5-10 min walking distance): an ancient castle with a tower, a museum, shopping possibilities, an ice cream store, and - typical for Perchtoldsdorf - many traditional family wine bars called "Heuriger". You find them f.ex. on the street that leads to the center (called "Hauptplatz"), and you recognize them by the green branch of a tree in front of the entrance.
Perchtoldsdorf has a nice "Haide", part of the Viennese forests, where you can go for walking, hiking or by bike. It is a special nature park due to it's characteristic ecosystem, "dry lawn". Starting from there you can also find many popular hiking paths in the Viennese forests.

Travel Details from the host -> Hello, I love travelling - also for work reasons - and when I am not in the appartment, I offer it for use. Some random information about myself: One of my favourite books is "Night train to Lisbon" (I do enjoy taking the night train myself), and one of my favourite cities is Bologna (Italy).
