Perched on the cliff-side nearly 400 meters above the sea, Ikia Kriton is a traditional Santorini house in Imerovigli, blessed with breathtaking views of the caldera and ideally placed to discover the whole island. Renovated in 2015 from an old town house, the elegant minimalist building fully embraces local architecture and traditional features whilst tastefully combining local handcrafted furniture with modern flourishes and offers abundant space for you to relax in – indoors or outdoors. The building is split into two distinct parts – the ‘cave house’, traditionally known as ‘iposkafo’ and which is carved into the volcanic cliff and the remaining which is sitting just over the foot path and opens out directly onto the veranda.
