This house is situated on a hill top in a private property which overlooks the square of Gavalohori and has a beautiful view of the green surroundings and mountains. Your stay here will truly stimulate all of your senses to experience and become a part of the lifestyle even within the walls of your home. It is also very convenient because anything you may need is a small walking distance (mini- markets, bakery, restaurants, cafe).
The house itself is actually very spacious with plenty of sunlight and very well designed. My personal taste and attention along with a lot of love and respect for this home has made it a very nice place to stay. The atmosphere is very relaxing and harmonious. There are also several beautiful beaches nearby , the nearest Almirida, followed by Kalives , Keni Akti , Drapanos etc. and towards Rethimno, Georgoupoli ,kalivaki The city of Chania is 27 km away and is a short and pleasant ride. There are bus schedules and taxis available , which enables one to visit the city frequently and at the same time enjoy the peace and the everyday Cretan lifestyle in Gavalohori and become intimate and a part of it as well.
Travel Details from the host -> I’m a pretty easy going person and quite friendly . I love traveling and spending time with loved ones and enjoying even the very small things in life . Quality time and things are important to me, eg from friends to good wine and coffee. My basic job is a school teacher and if may say, by surprise a property manager too . I also love cycling , motorcycles , and reading particular types of books , working out and going out too. However , due to the lack of free time I don’t find time to do much . I have 2 beautiful daughters that I love and cherish more than anything on earth !
