My room is situated in a beautiful loft-like historic apartment in Vienna's central 8th district. While you will find a variety of restaurants, cafés and bars as well as the renowned Theater in der Josefstadt and a tiny park right on the corner, the apartment itself is quiet and will provide a comfortable home base for your stay.

The world famous city hall and the Burgtheater are within walking distance, just like the tourist attractions in Vienna's city centre and the hip 7th district.

The space
The room features a spacious 1.40m x 2.00m loft bed with some extra space on a built in second level, a comfortable arm chair and a desk. Since it is located in the rear part of the apartment with a window to the yard you can also enjoy sleeping with an open window.

The apartment has a big living room which I share with my roommate. Of course you can hang out there for meals, reading or a glass of wine or a beer.

The neighborhood is one of the nicest that Vienna has to offer. It is fairly quiet but you can still find some nice cafés and restaurants as well as the beautiful Piaristenplatz and a park just around the corner.

At the same time you are located right in the centre of Vienna with the 1st district and all its tourist attractions as well as most of Vienna's renowned theaters (Burgtheater, Volkstheater, Theater in der Josefstadt) and museums (Museumsquartier, Weltmuseum, Kunsthistorisches Museum, Naturhistorisches Museum) within 15 minutes of walking distance.

Also the 7th district, with all its cafés and bars and small shops, and the Yppenplatz are within 15 minutes of walking or a few stops by bus or tram.

There are several bus tram and subway stations nearby that connect you with almost any place which is not within walking distance.
