Welcome to Lefferts Avenue! - Our block was recognized by the Brooklyn Botanic Garden as being one of the Greenest Blocks in Brooklyn, and is part of the Prospect Lefferts Gardens historic district.

Our immediate neighborhood is called Prospect Lefferts Gardens, and is part of Flatbush, the heart and soul of Brooklyn. Our community is racially and economically diverse, with many longtime residents coming to live here from throughout the Caribbean. Neighbors try to maintain the Caribbean tradition of civility, so feel free to greet people you pass with a friendly "good morning", "good afternoon" or "good evening."
