Our place is in an area next to the city center, in a neighborhood that was working-class, then multicultural and is being gentrified by young families who escape the high prices of the center (new park, new buildings, art gallery, museum). Note that this is not a fancy tourist area, but rather a neighborhood where one can get a authentic feel of living in Flanders. We love cooking and guests can join. We speak Dutch, French, English, German, Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, Italian and Spanish.
The space
We live in a simple house, we used to use the room for airbnb only, but now we use it as a work space during the week and offer it to guests on other days or when we don't need it. Please note that the room is on the 3rd floor, access via stairs which can be quite steep. It has been completely renovated. We have a double bed/couch in it, and an extra matress, if needed.
