The apartment is in a really beautiful and quaint area! The 5th district, a.k.a Latin Quarter, is a beautiful and upscale neighbourhood right in the centre of Paris. It houses many of the city's historical academic institutions (Sorbonne, College de France, some of the best French universities), and has many bars, cafes and restaurants. The neighbourhood also contains the zoo and Botanical Gardens (2-min walk from the apartment) and the Pantheon, and borders the Luxembourg Gardens, the Notre Dame and the river Seine, all of which are within walking distance to the apartment.
