The apartment is located in Megalochori traditional village with Cycladic colors and beautiful bell towers. You can walk to the Caldera for sunset and early in the morning for jogging with a stunning view. Walk in the vineyards around the village and take the footpaths to Pyrgos and to Emporeio villages to see their medieval castles (40 min walk). You can eat in the restaurants and traditional taverns of the village at reasonable prices, visit the art and gift shops, the Pottery workshops nearby or have a wine tasting in the four traditional wineries of the village (Boutari, Venetsanos, Gavalas, Arvanitis).

Travel Details from the host -> I am from Santorini and I have traveled to other countries. The more exotic a country is the nearer it is to the definition of traveling. That is why I believe that we should offer to our guests the sense that they can safely be far from their own comfort, and at the same time to make them feel close to the Greek culture which is an inclusive culture.
